LIME x UNOC
Ride Green for the Blue
I was commissioned to create a moving art installation for the 2025 UN Ocean Conference in collaboration with LIME and Together for the Ocean.
With less than 8.6% of the world’s ocean protected and only five years left to meet 2030 targets, bold action is urgently needed. My brief was to transform the iconic Lime Bike into a mobile artwork that policymakers would ride across Nice, sparking conversations about ocean protection.
I brought eight vital marine habitats to the streets of Nice through bold illustrations: coral reefs, seagrass, mangroves, open ocean, deep sea, kelp forests, and coastal ecosystems, each home to species like manta rays, sharks, cuttlefish, endangered seahorses, and more. I collaborated with Unblurred Signs to wrap the bike in a new plastic-free vinyl, and transformed my illustrations into plant-based hand painted 3D sculptures.
The bike rode through Nice during UNOC 2025, inviting world leaders and influencers to “Ride green for the Blue” and open meaningful conversations about saving our ocean.
