CAPTURE - PAINT - PROTECT

Francesca, an award-winning wildlife photographer, and conservation photojournalist, is renowned for her creative and powerful underwater and wildlife photography. As a published writer, photographer and internationally-selling Illustrator, she has travelled the globe to capture vital conservation and wildlife stories, using her artistic skills to inspire positive change. She is dedicated to capturing the beauty of our natural world whilst also shining a spot light on the issues it is facing. Her illustrations blend Procreate, Photoshop, and watercolour to create vibrant, detailed scenes that focus on ocean habitats, conservation, and wildlife. Francesca stands out for her colourful, bold style and her dedication to ocean conservation. She is especially passionate about raising awareness of the misunderstood creatures in our oceans, dedicating the past decade to saving sharks. She believes that art is going to save this planet and it is her life’s mission to do just that.

Francesca holds a BA Honours in Illustration from Camberwell College of Arts, UAL, where she explored how visual communication can tackle environmental issues. Beyond her creative pursuits, Francesca is a Freediver and Open Water Dive Instructor. She spent a season as a freelance underwater photographer on the breathtaking Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia and she is now currently freelancing globally, focusing on compelling conservation narratives.

Her work has been recognized by National Geographic UK, the International Photography Awards, Ocean Awards, Ocean Photographer of the Year and British Photographer of the Year, and she has worked with notable clients such as the Blue Marine Foundation, Netflix, Oceanographic, Piccadilly Lights, Sea Shepherd, Scuba Diving Magazine, and even astronauts, using her art to promote wildlife and conservation stories.

When not in the studio, Francesca enjoys freediving off the South Coast of England or working on conservation photojournalism with top publications.
